MG-Guard FS-042

MG-Guard FS-042 is an alkyl hydroxylamine antioxidant that does not contain any potential chromophores within its structure. When added to polyolefin resin during production, this material will not "gas fade" /turn pink or develop phenolic yellowing under any conditions. MG-Guard FS-042 is particularly useful for film and fiber applications in polypropylene, polyethylene, and TPO. Hydroxyamine antioxidants display a strong synergistic effect when used in combination with phosphite antioxidants, such as AO-168 and AO-626. Typical loadings for MG-Guard FS-042 range from 0.05% to 0.20%.
